Developed through multiple public performances, workshops, and school programs, RHYTHM AND AUTISM has evolved into a flexible work with traditional, low-tech, and sensory-friendly formats. Andee Joyce’s performances combine guitar, voice, looping, playback layers, and percussion (with options for backing musicians) to create an intimate and interactive theatrical environment, blending humor, vulnerability, and rhythm-driven connection while centering accessibility as an artistic practice. It can even be performed outdoors, with battery power!

A script and a sensory program (explaining which sensory elements are coming in each scene) are available to scan for each show, and full open captions are also an option.
